Samsung’s One UI 7 Update: Which Phones Get It First (And Who Gets Left Behind)?

Samsung’s One UI 7 Update: Is Your Phone Getting It, or Are You Out of Luck?

Attention Samsung users! It’s that time of the year when you anxiously wait for a software update that promises new features, bug fixes, and probably a few new bugs as well.

Yes, Samsung is rolling out One UI 7 with Android 15, and we finally have a timeline for when you can expect it (or not).

Thanks to a leaked screenshot from a Samsung workshop (shoutout to the mystery tipster who probably risked their job for this), we now have the rollout dates.

Brace yourselves, because starting April 18, Samsung will begin distributing the update like a slow-moving food delivery service.

Who Gets One UI 7 First? (The VIP Treatment)

If you own a Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, Galaxy Z Flip6, or Z Fold6, congratulations! You’re among the first batch of lucky users who will get Android 15 and One UI 7 on April 18.

That’s right—Samsung’s newest and shiniest devices are, of course, first in line. No surprises there.

A week later, on April 25, Samsung will remember that older flagship owners exist.

This batch includes Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip5, Z Fold5, and even the mid-range favorite Galaxy A54.

Not bad, but still, second-class citizens compared to the S24 gang.

The “We’ll Get to You Eventually” Batch

Now, if you own a Galaxy S23 FE, S22 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, A53, A34, or A33, mark your calendar for May 16—because that’s when Samsung will finally grace your device with One UI 7.

Yes, the S23 FE—which is technically part of the S23 family—has been rudely pushed back. If you own this phone, you have every right to be salty.

The “Better Late Than Never” Group

And finally, for those still holding onto their Galaxy S21 series, Z Flip3, or Z Fold3, your turn comes May 23.

At this point, you should just be happy that Samsung hasn’t completely forgotten about you.

What About the Rest?

If your device isn’t on this list, well… let’s just say you might want to start looking at custom ROMs or a new phone.

In the meantime, get ready for the usual update process—downloading a huge file, waiting forever, and hoping your battery doesn’t die mid-update. Good luck!
