Suits LA: Old Faces, New Drama—But Don’t Get Too Excited

Objection, your honor! Suits LA is calling some familiar witnesses—err, characters—to the stand.

But before you start dreaming of a full-fledged Suits revival, let’s be clear: this is not Suits: The Reunion Tour.

Creator Aaron Korsh has made it known—he’s letting a few old faces pop up, but he’s not turning the show into a retirement home for former cast members.

Premiering on NBC and Peacock (which, let’s be honest, already happened on February 23—so if you missed it, that’s on you), Suits LA revolves around Ted Black’s law firm and stars fresh faces like Stephen Amell, Lex Scott Davis, Josh McDermitt, Bryan Greenberg, and Troy Winbush.

Gabriel Macht has already shown up as Harvey Specter, because let’s face it—without him, this spinoff would have the same credibility as Mike Ross’s fake law degree.

Now, onto the burning question: Who else is sneaking back into the courtroom?

According to TVLine, Korsh confirmed that at least one more original Suits character will return.

But in true legal fashion, he dodged any specifics like a lawyer avoiding a tough cross-examination.

He insists that cameos will be organic—which probably means no dramatic slow-motion entrances, no “You just got Litt up!” speeches, and no unnecessary flashbacks to the good old days.

Let’s analyze the evidence on who might return:

  • Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane) – Currently too busy being actual royalty. Highly unlikely she’ll trade Buckingham Palace for a fake law firm in LA.
  • Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross) – Might be too busy herding cows in Yellowstone’s upcoming spinoff The Madison.
  • Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson) – Now this could happen, since 9-1-1: Lone Star is wrapping up. Plus, Jessica Pearson doesn’t turn down a challenge.

But let’s be real—will a couple of guest appearances be enough to save Suits LA? Early reviews suggest the jury is NOT on its side.

Rotten Tomatoes has slapped it with a brutal 34% score, and the audience Popcornmeter sits at a sad 37%.

ScreenRant’s Ana Dumaraog hit it with a 4/10 verdict, saying the show leans into the worst parts of Suits—convoluted drama and plot twists so wild, they make Louis Litt’s meltdowns look reasonable.

Yet, hope isn’t completely lost. Suits LA is still airing Sundays at 9 PM EST on NBC and Peacock, trying desperately to convince the audience it deserves a second chance.

Will the return of a beloved character turn things around, or is this case already closed? Only time (and viewership numbers) will tell.
